KSA MultiPass is more than just a bus pass.

The KSA MultiPass Program focuses on active transportation and healthy living. We work to promote services, facilities, and events that help encourage students to travel in more sustainable modes, and to stay active. With the MultiPass Program you can:

  • Get a U-Pass BC on Compass Card and ride a TransLink bus, Skytrain, or Seabus in any zone at any time.
  • Travel between KPU campuses with an express coach.
  • Work out at Steve Nash Fitness World for a $5 monthly membership.
  • Access free Bike Locker Rentals and workshops throughout the year.
  • Borrow a car2go for car sharing with free 20 minutes/month.
  • All this, and more, comes from the MultiPass program.

car2go Service Update

The car2go parking spots at the Surrey Campus have moved to prime spots in front of the Main Building!

As of January 2017, car2go is no longer servicing the Cloverdale (KPU Tech) and Langley campuses. car2go cars are still available at the Surrey and Richmond campuses. KPU students can continue to sign up for free and receive 20 minutes of driving credit per month that gives you access to the full car2go network.

The Compass Card is here at KPU!

KPU has made a full transition to the Compass Card! Wave goodbye to paper
U-Passes and say hello to a whole new transit experience. With the Compass Card in hand, you'll simply load your U-Pass BC online onto your Compass Card each month instead of visiting the Bookstore.

Getting a Compass Card

To use your U-Pass BC benefit, students will need to purchase a Compass Card first! Compass cards can be bought for a $6 refundable deposit at the following locations:

  • online at compasscard.ca
  • Compass Vending Machines at select Skytrain stop locations
  • Compass Card retailer
  • select London Drugs locations
  • by calling 604.398.2042
  • Compass Customer Service Centre: Stadium-Chinatown Station

For a list of all retailers, please click here.

Please note that students with the initial release Compass Cards will not have to purchase a new Compass Card. They work the same, we just waived the $6 deposit!

Loading your U-Pass BC onto your Compass Card

With your Compass Card in hand, visit upassbc.translink.ca to link your U-Pass to your Compass Card. Then, after the 16th of each following month, you'll be able to request your U-Pass BC benefit online, and it will automatically be loaded onto your Compass Card.
